Why?
My drive takes me past big lovely houses, which I would never be able to afford, beautifully landscaped gardens, and trees. Right now the trees are budding and blooming, which makes for an even prettier drive with the mixture of pink, purple, and white blossoms on the trees.
Nothing is so beautiful as spring -- when weeds, in wheels, shoot long and lovely and lush; Thrush's eggs look little low heavens, and thrush through the echoing timber does so rinse and wring the ear, it strikes like lightning to hear him sing.~Gerard Manley Hopkins, British Poet
